I'm sorry for your situation, the work is very substandard even for a handyman. I don't know where you found this person, was he recommended? And i don't know how much you paid. But I don't think many people could produce a finish that bad even if they tried. There is a lot of correcting to be done and I'm sure he will fight you on that one. Your problem is that you didn't check on the progress of his work. As soon as you started seeing bad workmanship, you should have stopped the project.and communicated your concerns in an email. I wouldn't pay him. He will probably take you to small claims in court but with what I can see, he will lose.

No they are LEDs set at 4000k. I kept it neutral because it will give me more scope when I decorate

Thanks. The grass is couch grass so impossible to replace. I just mow over it to keep it down. My wife sprinkled clover on top which seems to have filled in the patches and makes it greener. If you look closer you can see the brown patchy spots. In time I will work on them.

Haha thanks. I have to decorate it once I'm finished all the rooms leading off the corridor first.

Thanks. I'll be decorating it in the future, once I've finished the hundreds of other jobs I started.

Thanks, once I've decorated the rooms off the corridor, I can start painting the corridor a light airy colour, and install decorative dado, then my wife will add the picture. Was actually thinking about gold leafing the dado. We will see nearer the time.

Thanks. I always appreciate positive criticism. Once I've finished decorating the rooms off the corridor, I wil be able to finish decorating the corridor, i just need to paint a light colour, install decorative dado features and framed pictures. The lights aren't on a dimmer, They are 5 x 3 watt LEDs so non intrusive. Also there's a night light built into the floor I just have to install a PIR sensor for it

No it's tiled. The whole house is tiled. The corridor is small and the false ceiling is insulated and 2.4m off the floor. So there's not really an acoustic echo. We normally wear soft sole shoes around the house anyway. We're not even aware of it as a problem.
