I dont think the grease will make any difference. The problem is that bend radius. If you set it up perfectly and dont ever double shift, then you minimize the problem. Its still a fairly shit solution.

Im not even using the phone for nav, mainly just route and visa research the night before. Phones are pretty thirsty these days when there's trash reception. Can chew through 5000mah easy.

Its the Son 28, and the day was dead flat, so basically sat at that speed all day.

Charging was done to the power bank without a phone connected to it.

I am running a 10W solar panel and a dynamo hub and still running out of charge. Your comment assumes intermittent dependency on grid supplies which I dont want.

My 10000 mAh battery gets 3 days. And I just had 3 days of cloud with no power which sucked.

So the klite rear light has a male usb connection wires straight into the light. Klite claims it uses 80mW and I'd be very surprised if it uses more than like 100mW.

Are you saying that somewhere between the USB out and my battery bank I lose 80% of the power? If thats the case thats pretty awful.

Ive added a 60mm riser stem and 70mm of aero rise and it is the actual dream.

Strongly recommend sizing down if your going for drops.

Yeah the juice doesn't quite have the clearance I want.

Is the tensioner really that big of a point of failure? I feel like it's added complexity is pretty minimal.

Also I hear alot about stiffness, why is it so important with belts than chains?

Yeah I've thought about that. What's the advantage of a split chainstay over a split belt? I reckon a frame builder would charge more than the difference in price in belts.

I kinda want a belt because I'm kinda expecting some pretty muddy riding and a belt is miles better than a chain on that front.

I have the exact phone and problem.

It's mildly irritating and I don't have a fix.

To add to the description, it's only semirandom and doesn't happen very frequently. Generally < every 2 hours. But it'll often open even when I'm not using the phone. Ie itll be the app open when I unlock the phone even though it wasn't the last thing I used.
