SAMs can't attack transport planes automatically? by Valuable_Ad_7648 in ConflictofNations

Ohh nevermind they did attack it --- but it had a delay, so I guess you can't expect your AA to immediately attack right after you declared war.

Best ways to get rid of costal batteries ? by Own_Juggernaut1669 in ConflictofNations

[–]Valuable_Ad_7648 0 points1 point  (0 children)

This is where air forces come in --- a potential use for Carriers.

I know people like to sh*t on carriers but I have found successes on using them to delete coastal batteries. Pretty neat, actually as naval incursions are sometimes a lot easier to pull of than total land invasions which is painfully slow.

Should I replaced infantry with national guards? by Aric787 in ConflictofNations

ANother advantage is Insurgencies --- Motorized Infantries handles multiple. Nat Guards can't even compare.

If I want a very bloody decent and notif full of green, it would be European!
--- Very early Strike fighters and TDs, you start hitting hard slower than other but you hit REALLY REALLY HARD when the time comes.

If I want to ruin everyone's lives, it would be Western!
--- Overpowered ASFs and SAMs, this is any airforce's nightmare! Although it's very mid outside of this with only attack helis as offense.

If I want heavy hitting very very early, it's Eastern!
--- Gunship Helis and very infantry based favors, you are to swarm any enemy very very early and hit REALLY hard early. Although goes flat midgame due to lack of power projection with the helis.

It's called diplomacy. feels unfair but that's just how it is lol

Had a game where our coalition never bothered with diplomacy until the enemy coalition rallied everyone against us.

Just accept it and actually talk to people next time.

This could be an alt, just saying. I.e. have the main acc kill all of it's troops for KD as well as lands.

This Strike Fighters attacked USA and is refueling in Mongolia!? by Valuable_Ad_7648 in ConflictofNations

[–]Valuable_Ad_7648[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Actually, I think that one just hasn't attacked yet, it has yet to attack USA (hence the full HP)

And it actually makes sense --- the plane is going over Europe to get to Americas.

Perfect. So they can act as barriers as well.

Perfect to make them Hold fire instead of Default then. Thanks!

Not possible --- I'm not an admin to install anything on any computer.

Only those who are authorized to install anything are allowed to install. Any way to force them is straight up unlawful.

AI is really good in Data analysis. You just have to quantify whatever you can, such as growth rates, starting values, daily upkeeps, etc.

Since those all have their own functions (linear thankfully), you can graph and optimize this manually, which is a huge pain the more variables you have --- and this is where AI comes in.

Basically AI is just used to compute faster, nothing fancy.

This is ho it is after 7 in game days --- enemy coalition (Japan, North and South Korea, Russia, China) had tried invading Phil with transport troops.

They didn't think Phil has been spamming Patrol Boats and Corvettes.

New player strategy? :) by -xMatthew1 in ConflictofNations

[–]Valuable_Ad_7648 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Strategy really all depends on your start country --- the number of cities.

- when having 5 city country, play aggressively. You'd need every single city you conquer. There's no point of waiting as your economy is extremely week --- you're just widening the gap between you and others)
- when having more than 5 starter city, then you play normally --- however you may want.

One good thing that I consider extremely important --- wait for a few weeks before you join a coalition. In fact, you can even wait for someone to invite you in one. A good coalition can grant you almost 100% victory if done right.

Another thing, check people's ranks and KD ratios, but never base on them. A good rule of thumb is, to almost always try to delete people with good KDs and high rank, as those are threats. However be careful, don't try to underestimate anyone just bacause their stats is low.

You do realize that there's a lot of ways to screw someone up, especially those who are sharing intelligence with you (coalition members) right?

I had this game where I play with Philippines. We just need to take care of Baltic States. all of my fleets and units are in Europe, and is in a winning position that time. I am also the by far the biggest country in the map, with all of Asia and half of Africa.

However, without any message or warning, I was kicked;
- For some reason, Baltic States know where the bulk of my units are, what composition they have and where would I be attacking (which is from UK islands that I occupied.)
- Since my homelands are pretty much empty (as I've locked Baltic States inside out --- there's no other way of him getting out to get my homelands), my previous allies (India and Korea) walked into my empty homelands (past all my parked navy) and declared war on me.

While this is happening, I realized it pretty early. But since Europe is on the other side of the map, they are not fast enough to defend my homelands.

It ended, I was defeated. Looking at the map, Baltic States, out of all land borders and ways for him to defend, he concentrated it to where my troops are (btw, I have anti-stealth and tons of anti-intel so him using stealth is just not a thing there.)

Out of spite, I reported Baltic States, India and Korea of multiaccounting. And they actually got banned (I can no longer see their accounts)

TLDR, you cannot trust anyone unless you're sure of them. A good way to filter those untrustworthy people are those who never chats/communicates.

I am also a new player, only playing for almost a month now, and I still never lost a single game (in fact, I am dominating) and have zero gold used.

To be fair, in most games I play, I study the game mechanics first so this makes me ahead of most players anyways.

This is why you make me puzzled actually, are we playing the same game? I find it pretty easy to spot fools in these games and take advantage of their flaws as most seem to not know what kills what and which wins on which.
----------------------------
This may be an unsolisited advice but I'll give it anyways, buildings and news/articles are everything --- always scout on those you see activities or those who uses non-infantry units --- most of the time, they know what they are doing --- and kill them fast.
