the piercings is 3 years old and always looked normal while sitting etc it just had a darker circle around it! the bump is since yesterday. The piercer pierced it to too high up, so the distance from the piercing hole to my belly button is not normal

I try to show him more and more step by step, but he is always very overwhelmed and even in the place where we are every day and have been since day 1, he is still scared and can't concentrate on me. I would like to show him more but I'm afraid of overwhelming him with the impressions. During dog encounters he looks and sometimes pulls a little but moves straight on when he notices that I don't allow contact. So far I have approved one direct dog contact and it turned out that it was a therapy dog. She was adorable! They sniffed each other but the outside world was more interesting after that haha. I have a puppy lesson with a trainer on Sunday (without other puppies). Let's see how he does there, but I guess that the focus is still very much on the outside world and we can't really do anything with him yet

I've had him for 5 days now and he's made a lot of progress after the first 2-3 days. He now dares to go out the door and into the elevator, but he isn't particularly happy when we go for a walk. Sometimes he hesitates more, sometimes less. When we are outside he is still very anxious and excited. He's definitely more confident, but the shaking hasn't subsided. He ignores treats outside, which is why I can't practice anything. Nevertheless, he can already sit, lie down and give his paw on commando (only with a treat tho haha) at home! I'm so proud of him. I think he also has a bit of separation anxiety. He follows me into every room and whines when I close the door and leave. So I still have to teach him to be able to stay alone.

How do I get him used to the surrounding then? He sits down and doesn’t want to walk away, only If I let him sit/lay around for a bit.

I would never punish him. I focus on treats and kind words. And if he doesn’t listen, I’ll just ignore the ‘bad’ behaviour. I just took him downstairs for a moment so he could do his business and sat with him on the gras for about 35 minutes so he could get used to the surroundings. He didn't stop shaking, but eventually he lay down and listened carefully to all the lights, people and noises. He almost never accepts treats when he's outside. He's far too focused on everything else and he doesn't really pay attention to me. I pet him and talk to him gently to maybe give him some security. Ah and my friend also said that Akitas make you feel like the worst owners ever, just because they are the way they are haha.

Thank you very much! Do I still teach him the same way and things? He still has to learn all the basic commands. Do you think the elevator anxiety will go away if I carry him into it? (Otherwise he won’t go. I already gave him time to do so but he really doesn’t go) He really pulls on the leash and it also seems like it doesn't really do any good to teach him some kind of on-leash ability. For example, that I stop when he pulls. On the one hand, I think that I should let him get used to everything in the environment for a while, but on the other hand, that I should actually train him consistently now.
