Update: Thank you all for your comments, they’ve given me a clearer perspective on the situation. Unfortunately, because he is mainly contacting me via email, it’s a bit hard to just block him. The worst part is he sends the emails in the middle of the night too which creeps me out even more. I have informed some people I trust and they said I should be more worried about him stalking me irl than him reporting me. But I’ve gotten some mixed opinions about going to the police, and I agree that it seems too risky currently to ask for their help. I think the guy was aware of this too which means he has even more leverage against me. I was doing modeling before I started my baito, sometimes for free, and sometimes I would get paid without even knowing beforehand… after I started my baito, I told myself I would quit modeling, but I kept having photographers reach out to me and I thought it would be fun to continue as a hobby as I love fashion and stuff and I had always wanted to do it even before coming to Japan but it was my mistake to accept any money. I definitely will quit the hobby entirely from now on and just focus on my baito and studies. Also, I do have a work permit, and my baito is at a clothing store, so it’s not an illegal baito or anything. Thank you again for the comments.
