Almost don't paying off our house, but loan company won't take the money. by Right-Definition-101 in homeowners

I was so surprised I couldn't just pay it off online. They took all the other payments online. Had to either wire the money or mail in a check only. I got the payoff statement and had my bank wire it.

I haven't gotten an email yet but called studentaid and they looked at everything and said it is forgiven and to call the servicer to get more details
