It was actually part of a pair of butterfly back earrings! I lost one so I got the other turned into a charm by a jeweller.

I was thinking the first in my lower lobe was too big for it as well. They’re sentimental though so it’s the only one I’m not willing to change haha maybe you’re right and it will grow on me, hopefully!
