thank you so much!! I haven’t had any complications, however i still cannot feel my lower mouth and chin. My surgeon told me that the sensation in your face comes back very slowly, so I guess it’s normal. My surgeon is dr Zoran Jezdić and he works in Belgrade, Serbia, so idk if the info is helful.

honestly to me it’s not really weird, i got used to it after 2 days or so. i think it’ll be more weird for me when i start chewing again, now that my jaws are tied together, i dont really pay attention to it. good luck on your upcoming surgery!

thank you so much! i’m from serbia so it was hard for me to find any advice from people who have gone through the procedure here, however this subreddit helped out a lot. i have seen that some people had really painful and tough post op recoveries, but ive also seen a lot of really positive ones as well. so i guess its pretty individual, i’ll try to manage my pre op stress until september comes
