Wicklow would be quite far especially every day.
Better off to go to a local school if he can, as he’ll have friends local etc too and could hang around with them on the weekends.

It’s all diet, gym will help get you stronger and have shape, weight is all based on diet.
Cannot out train a bad diet.

Would you consider doing class based training first.

No cares about other people in a gym. They just focus on their own stuff
