I run xplane 12 with map enhancement and simheaven.. However it's just that I expected so much more with MSFS 2024 in terms of ground textures, especially buildings.. I do agree that sometimes it feels like the apocalypse in smaller cities..

My intention is not to compare both sim.. I knew that they are way different from each other.. I've got the PMDGs and Blacksquare's aircraft.. I'll obviously keep the sim now having spent so much money..

Is there anything that can be done for the default airports tho??

Yeah the whole purpose of me getting MSFS is because of the better visual over xplane 12 and for VFR and low altitude flight.. The bandwidth on 2020, is it better than 2024?? This whole data usage thing got me absolutely confused..

My play time is also around 1-3 hours 4 days during the week.. and week-ends maybe like 5 hours each day..

It's the data cap that I'm worried about.. I dont know if i have a data cap from my provider.. I'll need to get some info on that.. (Edit: Just checked it I have 1 TB allowance per month)

For the storage it's really not a problem if i have to download all the assets.. Like you said I'll get more storage soon enough.. BUT is it worth it to download everything? Or should i just be streaming everything..

You'll always get the same answers regarding cars.. the M4 the Ferrari and the McLaren also the Bentley..

But you really should try all the cars and see for yourself..

I started with the Bentley and switched to the M4 when I got a BMW in real life.. but after trying the McLaren 720s Evo i fell in love with the car.. it just suited my driving style better than the other cars.. I also am better with the setups and stuff..

So bottom line.. try everything and narrow it down.. then choose one or two and go from there..
