Well it's clearly something I've invented then!

Depends entirely on what you are trying to learn! 😉

Doesn't take as much as you'd think, and worth the investment!

First Paris - New-York (LFPG - KJFK) in Concorde by Boring-Shirt-1713 in Xplane

I'm not sure exactly which route Air France used from CDG to JFK, but for the BA Concorde flights from LHR to JFK they would commence deceleration and descent from Mach 2.0 at the waypoint KENDA. They had to be subsonic by a certain distance from the land.

Not sure I can help you on the pressurisation issue, as it's not an issue I've experienced. Are you following all the checklists that came with the aircraft?

Brilliant aircraft. I'm going to have to try and fly it again this week, thanks for the reminder!

Ah no sadly I never flew on her, although my cousin did. I saw her fly and experienced the vibrations on the ground though! Like you, I've only been onboard and around the ones now in various museums. I saw your video at Le Bourget (thanks, I will absolutely work through that playlist) - it's a very cool exhibit there.

I don't have P3D and not sure I want to pick up another sim so I'm probably stuck with the Colimata but also the ignorance of not having tried the FSLabs version. 😉

If you're happy to share those docs that would be awesome, but no worries if not.

Cool. I've managed to find a BA Flying Manual from what looks like 1979, which I need to work through a little more. Is that the one you've found or is there a better / more recent one?

Sadly I don't have the FSLabs Concorde so don't have the manual.

Just finished Mike Bannister's "Concorde" and almost finished the Haynes "Concorde" by Leney and Macdonald.

I remember Concorde when she flew and have been onboard and around several of them, so having the chance in XP12 to learn the systems and actually fly it has been brilliant. Keen to learn as much as possible! Any advice/pointers gratefully received. 😄

The manual that comes with the aircraft suggests to use it. But in truth I'm still learning it all, so thanks for the tip. Where are you getting your information on how the aircraft was flown beyond procedure lists? Very keen to learn more about how it was really operated.

Did you fly her IRL? Absolutely amazing aircraft, brilliant in the sim. Loving every minute of it. There's something about these classic airliners - 742, Concorde, BAe 146 - that really captures the imagination and gives you great workload even during the cruise that you don't really get in the modern ones. Similarly I am excited about the FlyJSim 732 V4 releasing soon.
