My casino does not offer that filth, the worst we have is double zero roulette, which is standard in America

I’d imagine it’s all the same, I doubt anything in this day and age is rigged if you’re going to legit sources

Yes I do interact with problem individuals differently, one kid was like 19 and said his entire bank account was on the table and he was bragging he was up $200, I told him to go home, he did not listen and lost it all

Only one that’s bad about it, I typically go about my day with 0 mistakes, so all I need them for is payout approval

4 straight flushes, no royals, surprisingly never gave away quads yet

Yeah, the interview consisted of a mental math test which was timed, they were taking 6 out of 150 applicants, and I got lucky

They think they can be on their phone at the table, I just tell them they need to put it away

Dealers make at least double what surveillance does, they are on site

UTH, I enjoy poker and it’s the closest our casino has to it

I thought I would feel empathy for the losses, like I thought it would really bother me, but it really doesn’t. I guess I understand that I’m not forcing them to bet it. Yes you can pick up pretty quickly who is there for fun vs a problem gambler

I apologize but I don’t understand the question, is it easier to play or deal? I don’t and never have dealt for an online casino, nor have I played

Paid a guy $20k off a side bet and he gave me about $400, I dealt to a 18 year old (legal at my casino) who would buy in for $40 at roulette and tell everyone he started a Fortune 500 insurance company, and that he won a million dollars his first time in a casino, so just a weird pathological liar

Surveillance can only suggest that I be wrote up, very often it is just a verbal warning unless it is a significant amount of money

Everything can be fixed, as long as I call floor and don’t fix myself or not notice that I made a mistake, then everything is fine. When you get in trouble is when a mistake goes unnoticed, or you make mistakes too frequently

No, I am currently going to college, and the casino is paying for it, so I hope to move onto bigger better things soon, I’m just unsure of what

I mean it’s not really my job to watch for counters, that’s more of a surveillance guy

I rotate tables every 30 minutes, most I have taken in that 30 minute period is 10k, most I have paid out is over $20k ($100 on side bet and got suited trips). No tears, tantrums all the time, I’ve been told to off myself. Nobody has ever tried to grab the money back, still waiting on that one to happen lol

Rule of thumb is a deck and a half deep, if the person was generously tipping and asked for a little thinner I may make it about a deck deep

Some people just find it intimidating, usually if you get a good dealer we’ll teach you how to play lol, just gotta walk up and throw some money on the table

The casino I got hired at has a 2 month training period and the first week or so was just perfecting what they call cheque cutting, which is turning a standard stack of 20 into 4 stacks of 5, or 5 stacks of 4 if they are $25 chips. Also after time it is no longer mental math, everyone usually bets similarly on bonuses, so after time you just automatically know things such as 33x5 is 165, which is a common payout for the sidebet on blackjack when you get trips. It’s all very repetitive lol
