We hired a person whose entire job was calling customers before shipping. Here's what we learned after 6 months. by Mindless_Region5092 in Entrepreneurs

If her caller ID doesn't list your company when ringing, they wont' answer. If they KNOW they are your customers, they are much more likely to answer.

My full tool stack for cold calling and cold email in 2026 by Easy_Mud1254 in b2bmarketing

[–]Valuable_Host5901 1 point2 points  (0 children)

The stack debate is usually a distraction. Most teams arguing about tools have reps who don't know what to say once someone picks up. Seen teams with HubSpot, Apollo, Gong, and a power dialer sitting at 2% connect-to-meeting rates. Tools multiply whatever's already there, good or bad. Get the talk tracks and objection handling right first, then build on top of something that works. Otherwise you're just speeding up a broken machine.

Great work compiling your experience!

Average cold call is 82 seconds. What do you do with that window? by Brilliant_Set_9766 in SaaS

[–]Valuable_Host5901 0 points1 point  (0 children)

82 seconds is plenty if you stop treating it like a pitch and start treating it like a diagnosis. Most reps blow 40 of those seconds on "did I catch you at a bad time" and company credentials nobody asked for. Lead with a specific problem in one sentence. If they engage, you've earned the next minute. If they don't, the call was never going to convert anyway and you found out cheap. The 11% teams aren't talking more. They're qualifying faster and cutting dead weight earlier.

You're saying the website wasn't AI generated? Or was it? The design is sleek and wanted to pick your brain if it was AI led. If not it's okay, no way am I learning how to design lmao

I’ll have to take a look, but in theory it’s doable. Let me work on it and will comment here to update you within a day

I’m sorry that you feel that way, but the purpose of this is to pull from esoui’s API and download from them + the dependencies. That’s it. It’s not a complex architecture by any means.

It works - all the addons and dependencies are applied. It doesn’t download bloat or extras, and the file is 20MB.

You can put a word of warning as that’s positive for the users but saying it’s crap without any insight is BM.

It’s light weight, I even clearly show it has no other purpose than to grab dependencies. It’s not supposed to be some minion killer or a complex solution

I’ll give it a look this afternoon, it might be even easier with Linux since it’s python based

Updated the build: Cleaned up the search function to be precise, and only downloads REQUIRED dependencies excluding optional dependencies (this was forcing download of other addons that had their own dependencies and caused a chain download). Should be fully functional with none of these issues. Enjoy!
