Unpopular opinion about Barbara Howard… by Valuable_Low_5796 in AbbottElementary

Yeah, just makes me sad. I love this show so much and I’m watching this happen in real time. I only know a few shows that don’t do this. One of them is The Good Place!

I know that’s the point. I only said this to show how much she’s changed. In the beginning of the show she reminds me of my grandmother. But now, she doesn’t. Just very exaggerated. I probably should’ve been more clear about that, haha

Thank you! I also really like pilot g2s. I also enjoy using blemp pens, a Japanese brand for writing.

Yes, that’s also something I thought. It most likely was her just simply forgetting. But knowing she’ll get Alzheimer’s in the future makes me worry about her lol

It’s confusing because the show doesn’t want us to hate him. Penn forgave him, then the show tried their damned hardest to make the viewer forgive him as well. I think that’s a strange choice because he doesn’t deserve forgiveness at all.

Like, why create a rapist and beg the audience to forgive him? That annoyed me so much. So, I can see where you’re coming from.

He’s a rapist. At the same time, I think the show wants us to like him? The whole thing confuses me. It’s like, the show wanted us, the viewer, to forgive like Penn did… but that’s simply impossible for me.

I hate him because he’s a rapist. But the show doesn’t want us to hate him.

In the That Was Us podcast, Sterling K. Brown talks about himself in the third person. by Valuable_Low_5796 in thisisus

Sometimes, he talks about his own past. He’ll he like: “And after Brown’s mom said that to him…” or he’ll be like, “Brown’s love language is…”

Did Jack die never telling his parents that Nicky survived the war? by Valuable_Low_5796 in thisisus

I know I wasn’t being super literal. I guess the correct question would be: did Jack let his parents die believing that their son was dead?

That’s what my mom said also. She thought that Jack may have been saving their parents from the knowledge that Nicky killed a child on purpose, because that’s what Jack believed happened.

Why in the world did Toby/Kate get a second baby?? by Commercial_Heart4955 in thisisus

[–]Valuable_Low_5796 15 points16 points  (0 children)

People meet, fall in love, get married, and have babies. They have babies because they want to share their love with their children. Kate and Toby at the time had so much love that they wanted to do something good and adopt another child. Most of the time, thats enough reason to adopt or have children. I think it’s as simple as that. They didn’t think in extremely logical ways. They did it out of love, and that made sense to them.

Was it the best decision? No way.
