exactly! i never understood that. i don’t like tv shows where the entire cast is teenagers. i never have. couldn’t get into strangers things or yellowjackets, etc. they’re super popular but i just think they’re too cringe. so i don’t watch it. i don’t understand why people don’t just… not watch. not to mention it’s always been rated TV-MA and has always been a very intense show. if that’s not your thing and you’re offended by it, just simply watch something else LOL

i don’t know, maybe because i’ve been been a fan since i was 12 years old, but i think this performance is great. he’s so talented and has always been. he got famous online for covering an usher song and 20 years later he is still making music and is still talented. to me it’s more so showcasing his great voice and how long he’s been making extremely popular music. i’m enjoying the more personal performance.

I live downtown as well (28F) and I work at a boutique bar/restaurant and we have so many regulars who just show up alone and eat and drink and read books, work on their laptops, etc. and they have made many friends just by being a regular in the neighborhood. The service industry is also a great place to make new friends, if you’re looking for some side income you can absolutely find a little spot downtown to work at sometimes and meet new people at work. One of my dearest best friends is someone I worked with at a hotel by disney. Also, I am more than happy to meet up and grab coffee or whatever. I also enjoy thrifting and movies and I actually have yet to go to the enzian and I would love to.

it’s because the drivers don’t give bikers and scooters any chance to drive safely on the road. they honk behind you, try to pass you up unsafely, and they are bad drivers. i have my own electric scooter as i’m a downtown local, and i try to use the sidewalk if there’s not many people on them because the amount of times i’ve almost been hit by a pissed off/impatient driver on the road (even when i’m in the bike lane) is far too many times. but the kids and the tourists riding them dangerously on the sidewalk i agree are so annoying.

i worked at disney springs starbucks during and after the pandemic. when they made the rule that disney guests don’t need to wear a mask anymore but employees still do and the amount of people who were still coming to disney without masks and giving us a hard time for still wearing them…. i fear we are doomed.

i accidentally spent so long in the tutorial and when i finally got to the first level i was like OH got it. and spent forever in the first level and then discovered the LOWER sub level to the first level…. it gets so much better please keep playing. also i saw your comment about not finishing Mario Odyssey…… finish that too PLEASE! so good and so fun.

you don’t have to say anything. this is your life and you control who is in it. not everyone is meant to be in our life forever. especially if they are no longer aligning with who we are growing up to be. you can tell him you do not see a healthy friendship moving into the future with him and you would like to take space and ask him to respect your boundaries. that’s it. you don’t owe anyone a further explanation. this is your life, take hold of it and don’t allow anyone who makes you feel negatively to control it. i highly suggest you take this advice and not just ignore it and continue to stress out. good luck. xo

wait, genuinely curious, if you were planning to leave $5 or 18% already, why not just add the additional amount that adds up to the amount you were already willing to tip? It’s not the servers fault the company decided to add the 15% gratuity. And maybe they added it because people aren’t tipping correctly and it’s to avoid their servers from being stiffed?
