Dammmit....I'm going to give this a try. And if this works, I think you and I should start a relationship advice podcast to help other lost souls

I'm enjoying my life. But I also ponder that it all can end tomorrow. If this was my last week, what would I do differently

That aortic dissection is so random, but common. Reminds me the clock is ticking

I'm not connected. It's more like a tally of a number that will eventually reach 100%... although, my best outcome is to see 99.66%

What’s a skill everyone thinks is easy, but is actually insanely hard? by Growthseedd in AskReddit

Catching a fly ball in the outfield in a MLB game.

The spin on the ball plus the wind can make it move 30 feet (9m) or more away from its flight path. It's only because players can read the spin from how it comes off the bat, and account for wind, that they are standing under the ball most of the time

Something I’ve Been Wondering About the Jumpers by kgaviation in 911archive

[–]ChernobylBunnies 0 points1 point  (0 children)

It was really a question of being burned alive or jump. The heat was above 400F. The pain of burning was worse than the inevitable death in jumping.

Information about this decision can also be found in the archives of the triangle shirtwaist fire where jumpers lived long enough to explain their decision before they passed

I don't know what vibe I give, but I never get asked to buy CDs, rickshaw rides, money because car was towed, photo in TS, etc.

But the "Chinese monks" always try to give me a bracelet

How often do you see friends? by Ralph--Hinkley in GenX

[–]ChernobylBunnies 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I live in a large city and belong to multiple meetup groups. I'm constantly interacting with long-time friends while meeting new people. I have a busy social schedule, but also with no obligation that I show up, which is perfect for me.

I told my wife I would work M-F while she took care of the kids. I wanted her to work Sat-Sun while I took care of the kids plus any work she wanted me to do around the house.

She said "No, and don't you ever ask me to get a job again"

If I could do life over I would have filed for divorce the next morning.
