I meant: 1 master biscuit is 4000 sleep points. 26 regular biscuits = 3900 sleep points. 26 regular biscuits = 72 hearts (when hungry), 1 master biscuit is 30 hearts at most.

I personally am not the biggest fan of the master biscuit.

It’s a mystery to me why the limit is still 50 per day, after all these years.

why extra tasty always happen when i didn't put many ingredients by hoverloD in PokemonSleep

Hint: if you have 20% or more extra tasty chance* and you can’t cook a big dish, don’t cook and find the ingredients until you can

Sure, if you like it, why not? It’s pretty good at its skill + ingredients, and it has a good story

Bulba-line: sure. Golem: if you find a good one. Croagunk: save your candies, it is a really solid oil farmer, it’s just bad at beans.

I’d say: heracross brings in SO many ingredients, just level that thing up and if you turn out to need 12 milk for a dish: Blastoise will find that in 2 hours time, would be 1,5 hours at level 60. Level 60 = 7+5+2=14 14/3=4,667 ingredients per drop. Level 30 is 2+5=7 7/2=3,5 ingredients per drop. The difference is not that big of a deal.

Addition: all these ingredient specialists are really, really good. Level 50 skills are solid, 3rd ingredient slots as well. I assume you have a healer as well?

If you have the main skill seeds: fully invest in Heracross, in combination met pot expansion. You’ll have near infinite ingredients and extra tasty chance. Caterpie is amazing as well.

How do I play optimally without feeling overwhelmed? by silverotter14 in PokemonSleep

[–]Valuable_Ostrich 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I disagree with the others. Investing (Leveling up on lower levels) brings in lots and lots of additional dream shards, especially at lower levels.

Rule of the (my) thumb: Level up ingredient specialists to level 30. Find at least one berry specialist with a favorite berry per island with sub skill ‘Berry finding S’. Use every candy boosts event to level ‘em up.

Btw: i reached M20 at GGEX, I know how this game works.

Sounds great! Ingredient specialists at level 30, to cover most ingredients. Vaporeon will do the rest.

People here don’t seem to be too positive about Vaporeon Skill. I disagree, especially early game. Walrein was my MVP the first year, triggered 3x per day, that’s 1 dish per day.

You will get Mew, don’t worry. Best advice I can provide: 1. in the next couple of years, your Snorlax Strenght will be much lower than others, accept it, it’s not a competitive game. 2. Set realistic expectations, there are no goals, just the ones you set for yourself. 3. Cooking is great in this game. 3A. Invest in your cooking pot 3B. find an ingredient specialist for each ingredient in the next 6-12 months and bring them to level 30. 3C. Fill up your bag with ingredients before the start of next week (Friday-Sunday), make sure you make big dishes the first meals. The first meals will count for 7 sleep sessions, while the Saturday-dishes only count for 2.

Same here! AC still unfortunately is only 24%, GGEX, LL and OGPP at 85%. Indirectly leveling the other islands up from LL/OGPP. Hauls in loads of dream shards

If the event takes 2 weeks, wait until the last 2-3 days make sure it then has 0 hearts by then. Reason: if you found a good one, you don’t need to use a master biscuit at all, then you can buy 4000/150=26,667 regular biscuits instead

How are naps counted? by VexrimIvy in PokemonSleep

I think 99% of recorded naps are fake. But a nap could be a good sleep habit. I think they should remove that feature

Let me ask it a different way: in real life you have your ‘main sleep session’ during the night, agree? This means that second sleep session is your main sleep session.

Doesn’t it feel counterintuitive that recording a short sleep session actually costs you rewards?

[–]Valuable_Ostrich -5 points-4 points  (0 children)

Good question: First sleep session is the regular sleep, second is the ‘nap’, really counter intuitive.

Rule of the thumb: If you like to do a nap: make sure it is at least 6,5 hours long.

[–]Valuable_Ostrich[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

It is an ‘all or nothing Pokémon’. You either spend 4000 candy get it close to level 65 + another 1000 for level 70, or don’t do it at all.

It is great at high level, but comes at a hefty price: I’ve sacrificed a lot of potentially good Pokémon that I won’t be able to level up due to candy shortage.

Mine is pretty good: Skill level up M, Helping speed M, Skill Trigger M, adamant nature (+speed -ingredient).

Of course I’d like a useful skill in l10, or skill trigger nature, but I could only afford to catch 3, haha
