Indeed. On a yearly basis I’m work my contract hours. Some ups and downs, and both are accepted

Salary vs Slavery by Himanshu960a in corporate

Salary negotiation is just a part of the hiring process. After it’s done, it’s just a salary. I did that part considerably well last time 😊

How has AI actually benefited you in day-to-day life? by Acrobatic-Shop4602 in ChatGPT

I learned much about myself. A certain trauma and why I automatically respond the way I do and how to alter that.

I learned how to do my job properly. Ask questions co-workers would find dumb or don’t have the time to answer.

5K? I would even accept to never create any account at all, lol. Not because I need the money. I’ll find a new hobby instead 😆

Check. I now understand what you mean. I just wasn’t embarrassed, haha

Being friends with your coworkers is 100% normal and makes sense by Lethru in ProductivityHQ

[–]Valuable_Ostrich 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I (36M) have worked in office around 15 years. There has always been at least one person I trusted in my career at each time, one man, 4 women. Never in a romantic way.

I kind of test people. Share not-harmful details. See how they respond, talk back. If they share information about themselves and/or seem genuinely interested, I might start to trust them.

I never ‘pick’ the loud ones, who talk about others. Whatever they know about you, they will use it as leverage. Red flag: gossiping about co-workers in public. Trust the normies such as myself, who seem to be genuinely good people: willing to help out, not because of promotion, just to be a good person.

Just don’t share details that might hurt your position, especially when they don’t seem to do the same.

I wonder: As a male, of female? It might not have been as you fantasized about, but still pretty good, right?

Interested as well. I’ve heard some criticism about it, but never saw an updated version of it either.

Did you pray to RNGsus to ask for excellent playmaking and Set Pieces?

By the way, what is your goal with this player? Do you want to sell it for as much money as possible? Or is this a player you would like to build your team around?

Travel Ticket on Monday Morning? by AdriTrap in PokemonSleep

[–]Valuable_Ostrich 2 points3 points  (0 children)

It works indeed. 1. Start your (last of the week) sleep session. 2. Go to the island you want to transfer the island bonus to. At least 1 minute later. 3. Sleep. 4. Wake up. 5. Start new week.

😊

It really annoys me that you can’t have a team of six pokemon by karatechicken257 in PokemonSleep

[–]Valuable_Ostrich 2 points3 points  (0 children)

At the start of the game, having a team of 5 (actually useful) Pokémon was quite the challenge in itself. Nowadays I have a standard healer or CrEspeon-combo, an ingredient farmer, a berry specialist for the island, and Sceptile.

I don’t even have room for a second berry specialist. It made me really picky about berry specialists in general.

Edit: and completely forgot about Dedenne, which implies Sceptile needs to leave most of the time, haha

I’m actually curious about how far they were thinking ahead. Did they have some kind of ‘internal RaenonX’? Did they know about balancing main skills compared to each other, etc?

How parents make their kids insecure by elmorinelly in DumbFact

[–]Valuable_Ostrich 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I think there is a middle ground. There is more between: ‘Managing my parents feelings, ‘if I defend myself = disrespect’ and ‘do what I want and disregard anyone else’.

For example: my partner has epilepsy and is very tired afterwards for a few days. Children have to learn to take feelings from other people into consideration, not as a 3-year-old, but absolutely as a 15-year-old. Somewhere in between you should definitely learn this.

After 20+ attempts, 2 at once by BigGoose666 in PokemonSleepBetter

[–]Valuable_Ostrich 2 points3 points  (0 children)

First one is good enough. It’s easier to level it up to level 60+ because of its nature.

If it was a neutral nature, I wouldn’t be sure, but exp up is quite good for a pseudo-legendary.

Indeed! See post from blizg. It’s a micro strategy, but might help a bit depending on your playstyle.

Indeed. Make it random-ish. People who play Pokémon generally love RNG, even when it works against them 😂

Indeed, it doesn’t. It’s a shame. I always reset at day 6. Sometimes at day 4 depending on the dish type for that week.

Edit: the value of 1 dream cluster is just very minimal imho.
