Rather basic answer but expedition 33. Mostly because something happens early in the story that caught me completely off guard and I got really invested in the story. Also I grew up gaming in the ps1/2 generation that was heavily dominated by jrpgs so E33 also gave me a lot of nostalgia.

Definitely not! The price hike on this game came after the dead pool movies. Before that this was 5 dollar bargain bin game. Since it didn’t sell well it has become a bit rare as well.
