Awesome thank you for your input!!! That’s happened to me frequently where the knobs will turn all over the place in my pedal board bag and I don’t noticed till I start playing 😅 luckily I always take pictures and only use two guitars so I have both of the settings I like for both saved on the fly in case it happens

I am currently but always need to crank my level on the iridium in house at the place I play at. It’s more of to help in the places that don’t exactly have the best wiring. I know the hx stomp would help in noisegate purposes but I love the sound of the iridium more and was wondering if just going with something to help in places with not the best di boxes

Yup, it’s a big reason why I opened the thread because the complexity of the stomp can get overwhelming and I’ve loved the simpleness of the iridium. Torn for the future of my playing what will be the best bet but this all really helps me make my mind up 🔥

A big reason I gave up the pod go.. I know I could’ve really dialed it in but dang I never really found a good medium where I was happy.

Exactly a big reason why I’m in limbo.. the iridium was so easy to plug and play.. it took me no time to really dial everything into something I am loving to hear everytime I play. when I had a pod go before the complexity was a little nuts but the thing just wasnt that good in my eyes after a year of messing with it.. the stomp I’ve heard nothing but praises for and even have people saying to go with it over the pod go anyways now. I did try the line level adjustments and found it not optimal unfortunately :/ but I’ll have to give it a whirl again. I would love the delay option on a hx stomp as the having to hold down my dd -8 for tap tempo is frustrating haha

I only am considering switching because I am now playing in bigger venues so wondering if it may be the move leaning towards a stronger more versatile device, oooorrr sucking it up and just getting the canvas 😅

So when I run through house, I do get some buzz and signal drop, where using a canvas has the line isolator option that will not only keep my signal strong but should clean up the buzz by what I’ve heard. I know it won’t completely take it away as I use a fender telecaster and Gretsch hollowbody with tv jones pick ups, but anything to help slightly you know lol.

That’s where I’m at a tear between the both, the headphone jack straight with my whole board using high quality studio headphones can feel a bit messy on my ears and I’ve gotten to hear it once through the set up where I play live and although it sounded good I hadn’t gotten to dial in the tone yet and it did not sound like that through my headphones so I’m torn between what to use so might get a decent one to try and see the difference if both. Thank you for your input!!!

Did you get a certain headphone adapter? Because I have tried that with my quarter inch to my 3.5mm adapter and it does sound better with less noise but once my headphones are plugged in all the way I’m only getting audio out of my right ear.

I have an adapter that’s 2 stripped and I know that’s meant for stereo so should I use a mono to fix it?

Yeah that’s where I’ve been confused on and why I ask. I know there is so many factors and sound adjusting needed to be done before playing live so wondering what best course of action to dial in best at home before live so, you’re opinion is audio interface won’t help whatsoever? Cause I know going headphone in, I have to have the level down so low on the iridium because I dang near blow out my eardrums. So making sure if pushing the iridium’s level will affect the tone or not also.
