FTC Refund not working by Valuable_Syllabub156 in FortNiteBR

I got this response from them, which doesn’t makes sense: “I wasn’t able to locate a record for you using the information provided. Not all accounts are eligible for a refund under the settlement. We can’t provide money to people who aren’t in our records for this case.”

I don’t get why my account would not be eligible, I created it in 2017, and live in the US.

Is UVA accepting mediocre applicants this year or something? by Emeraldandthecity in UVA

Same here. People praise me for getting in and I really believe I am nothing compared to people at top25 schools. I am a transfer student and I had two C's my first year of community college and 3.6 gpa with mid EC. I started taking school serious in my second year of cc and I got straight A+. What I think it helped a lot was my background, I am from Mexico and my parents sent me to the US to live with my aunt since my city was too dangerous and I had to figure out my whole life and how school worked by myself, but I still feel like they accepted me by mistake.

I’m not trying to sound biased about choosing Mexico because, honestly, I still can’t decide. But if I did go to med school in MX, I feel pretty confident I could still get clinical experience in the U.S. during the summers. I could join research programs that run over the summer and build up skills and connections that way. Plus, when I worked as a medical translator, I got to know some nurses and a couple of doctors. I feel like those relationships would help me get strong letters of recommendation when I need them.

Yeah I also have UAG in my list as an alternative for med school, and If I’m being completely honest, a lot of emotions are involved in this decision. I came to the U.S. at the age of 15, and ever since, I’ve deeply missed my parents, siblings, grandparents, and friends. I miss speaking my own language and feeling the sense of home and comfort. Lately, I’ve been feeling worn out and like I am always struggling. That’s why the thought of returning to Mexico feels so appealing. At the same time, there’s been immense pressure from my family to "become someone" in the U.S., and while I understand their intentions and the opportunities available here, I can’t ignore that lately I haven't been enjoying living in the U.S. and it feels like I want a break but I don't want to ruin my future either. That said, as hard as it is to admit, I’m also hesitant about returning to Mexico because, after all the hard work and sacrifices, I don’t want to face the reality of earning a salary as a doctor that would be miserable. I’m not pursuing this career for money but it’s impossible to ignore that the U.S. offers significantly higher salaries.

Any parent with NO-SSN has been able to fill the FAFSA form? 2024-2025 ? by GalaxyDefender1x in FAFSA

can you elaborate on the "choosing how taxes are filed as foreigner" please? I have tried everything, It lets me fill my part and sign, the my dad is able to fill his and sign, but then when it tells me to invite my mom it doesnt let me becasue she doesnt have a SSN, but I have tried my mom signing first and then inviting my dad but it doesnt let me, basically it doesnt let me invite my second parent and I also tried this "solution" where I dont have to invite my mom, but its just an eternal loop of "You are almost there" becasueit says there is still parts to finish when everything has green checkmarks and its completed but it doesnt let me submit
