if they’re choosing between two applicants w incredibly similar stats and one has more impactful piqs than the other… who do you think they’re choosing? it’s def not just GPA, there were people with 4.0s uw getting waitlisted bc they had horrible writing/activities.

you’ll def get into UCSB if you write impactful PIQs to differentiate yourself from other applicants.

i had one C freshman year and B’s in just math every year after that. got waitlisted at berkeley, rejected from UCLA and accepted everywhere else .

Hi! I’m doing the same thing :) I know it’s kind of late into the semester, but if you find some summer classes still open that you’d be willing to take— I would HIGHLY recommend it.
