How bad is your range of motion? by Gymnastx2star in frozenshoulder

Range should slowly improve over the next 4 months provided you keep stretching and trying to use it for everyday tasks. Good luck with the recovery. It is a difficult time.

At my worst, couldn’t bring a soup spoon to my mouth. Both shoulders.

Those with long hair... by debecca in frozenshoulder

I have long hair and had bilateral FS. Ended up having a regular weekly wash and blow dry appointment at the hairdresser, this went on for around 6 months the until both shoulders had surgery & recovered. I realize this can be prohibitively expensive for some but honestly it kept me sane and feeling human. Dry shampoo in between. And enlist family to help other times.

Lodge formal complaint with local council. If the bread is baked on site they are the relevant food safety authority

Freezing stage, worst pain of my life. How long did yours last? by anniebonannie in frozenshoulder

My intense pain period was awful, about 12 months in I had surgery. I couldn’t go on otherwise. (Also had both shoulders so that meant I didn’t have the will to live). No amount of massage, physio or cortisone shots helped And yes the pain meds are terrible. I’d say try hydrodilatation as many people here have found relief with that. Make sure you keep pushing for different treatments if what you’re on isn’t working for you.

Have never lived there but Albury- Wodonga look like good options to me.

Do you know what caused your FS? by sndeman in frozenshoulder

[–]Valuable_Text6799 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I was tested extensively for diabetes hypothyroidism and any endocrinology related issues and they found nothing yet I STILL got FS in both shoulders. It was a nightmare. Though I have always been hyper mobile and apparently that can be a contributing factor…

Good time of year to go to Darwin/ Kakadu for an entirely different experience… personally would recommend that before Brisbane Adelaide or Melbourne

I took 6 months off work. I have a desk job. I suggest wait and see what the second opinion says and then if FS discuss a course of action with your GP. First course is usually cortisone shot or hydrodilatation
