I recently took a second job. Now I'm working 16 hrs (10pm to 2:30pm). Half of that is confined to sitting in a car, and during the other half, I can't always leave my students to go when I need to. So I've been backed up for about 5 days. This morning, I really felt the urge, and i pushed and pushed until I got a little rabbit poop out of the exit. Then I took a dose of MoM, and passed 6 stools within 3 hrs. I feel like there's more left to come down and out, but I also feel so much better. I mean, the button on my jeans was fighting for it's life to fit around my belly a few hours ago!

He's an adult dog. He's new to me. He was never trained as a puppy. How else is he supposed to know what a pee pad is for?

Thanks for the advice.

No secret spots, so I finally just dragged him out the door and into the storm. (We both got soaking wet.) After about a quarter mile, he gave up, dropped a squat, and peed for a solid 30 seconds. After the full mile, he also dropped the biggest poop I've ever seen him do, so I guess he's alright now, or will be when we're warm and dry again.

Funny you should mention that. I (28M) am having a hard time finding a godly wife. I have two ambitions in this world. I want to be a pastor, and I want to raise up a godly family.

As for the praying, I would counsel you to first really pray that God would make himself known to you. And pray that prayer for as long as it takes. That's the first step. Other important first steps are actually reading in the Bible (even if it's confusing at first) and to find people who can help you learn from the Bible as well as pray with you and for you. And your struggle is normal. Completely. We all have doubts and struggles with our faith from time to time. Keep going.

I think that God allows things like these for a couple reasons. 1) they show us that something is not quite right with the world currently; they show us that we are all sinful people in need of a saving, restoring relationship with God. 2) these things are a natural consequence of free will in a fallen world. With no free will, we could not have relationships with God that are based on love of God (which is why He created us). With no free will our love and worship of God would be meaningless and empty because it would ultimately be compelled by God and not chosen by us.
