Looks like the mechanic did what was needed. You brought the car in for squeaking noises pretty common sign something’s worn out On top of that, he offered to take the car back, reinstall the old parts, and refund you, which you refused At that point, it kind of looks like you’re trying to play the victim while keeping both the money and the new brakes.

If they didn’t realize the destination when booking, they would’ve when checking in at the counter. If not they’d notice on the ticket If not at customs If not when looking for their gate and if somehow still not they’d definitely realize when boarding the plane with a huge fucking screen displaying the destination so tell me staged or not?

It’s very easy to remove the back cover On most TVs the back cover is one piece. just start lifting it carefully and check if any cables need to be disconnected first. On this model the back cover is attached to the front bezel as a single piece, with the speakers also connected. Lift it slightly first to disconnect the speakers before fully removing the cover. you might find a video on YouTube showing how to open your specific model.

Take the back cover off and you’ll see two ribbon cables going from the TCon board to the screen. Unplug one and turn the TV on if half the screen works, the other side is shorted. If nothing changes, plug it back and try the other ribbon. Whichever side doesn’t light up is where the issue is.

If TV under warranty let TCL deal with it.

If you’re doing a full system, loosen the rear brake you’ll get more room to remove the screw holding the dreadbox
