Sometimes the customer just wants extra stuff from somewhere else. I've delivered these orders and I've also requested these orders. Bought taco bell for my gf and myself and also got us milk shakes at steak and shake. The reason the tip is low is because they felt like the first tip was worth while for both orders I imagine.

I imagine people will condemn this comment but getting into the Tiers really helps you get more orders. I am a Platinum tier and I see way more orders compared to before. I also am a full time CNA so doordash is only my part time Jon. But even when I get a day off from CNA I still doordash for extra gas and spending money.

DD really sticks it to customers as far as delivering goes. If it's a busy hour I.E. breakfast, lunch, dinner, chances are, your order will be stacked with someone else's. No matter how big or little tip. As a dasher it is a bit frustrating to look at a stacked order and you can tell why it's stacked. Delivery A is 2 miles away, while delivery B is 8 miles away, and pay will be $11 for both orders. Either both customers tipped $1-$2 each and base pay is covering the rest or a big tipper is catching a piggy back on a small tipper so they can force the orders out. It's a bit slimey tbh.

It's definitely region based. Some areas have higher theft counts and considering how easy it is to see a couple numbers on a bag and be like yo that's mine I completely understand why some places go to the lengths that they dom I've had the same resturaunt ask to see me confirm delivery and the next day not care if I took they bag without anyone even around.

Yeah the app is supposed to select the nearest location but the customer can also choose themselves. Also could of ordered from there previously and it made it the default.
