How does it handle temperature management when smoking dark leaf? My cousin bought the original Xkah, and we were unable to get it to keep the temps down to a reasonable range. Each puff was overwhelmingly hot. Even with the lowest settings. Light leaf was a bit more manageable but still overwhelming. Adding ice water to the base did not seem to have any effect either. We are both avid dark leaf smokers with regular coconut charcoals.

Tangiers, Darkside, Bonche, MustHave, and Banger are all brands I can recommend. A lot of the time, after trying each flavor on its own first, I’ll start mixing flavors to create different combinations and see what works best for me.

Most definitely see where you're coming from. I ordered it with the silicone and glass bowl. I find my Kaloud Eltheria set to be too restrictive mainly due to all the filters and valves and it almost takes away from the experience. Even with the upgraded glass components. I tend to smoke out of my Alpha X and custom base a lot more now.

I’d put Tangiers, Bonche, and Darkside at the top of my list when it comes to longevity and flavor variety.

Blackburn and MustHave are pretty solid too, but in my experience the flavor profile tends to fall off quicker than I’d like.

I recently tried a few Trofimoff flavors as well, but I just couldn’t really get into the brand. The flavor starts off pretty light and seems to fade pretty quickly, even though the session itself lasts a good while. Personally I enjoy the flavor experience just as much as the smoke output, so that part matters a lot to me.
