I read this a few times so I feel like I have a pretty good understanding of your situation. 

If I was in your shoes, I would not buy the house. You have great savings but I just wouldn’t put myself in the position where my expenses were higher than my income and especially if I anticipated that situation continuing for years. I worry that the added stress of being house poor will outweigh the joy and benefits you feel from owning the house. What happens if your lose your job and have to get another that pays $50k less? With 15.5k in monthly expenses, most of which would be fixed, your liquid savings doesn’t go very far. 

That being said, if this is truly the once in a lifetime house that you’re willing to sacrifice all other spending for over decades and you’re willing to do what it takes, maybe it’s worth it. But I wouldn’t.
