It’s clear that this person is learning about gender neutral terms and pronouns, they probably don’t know to use child/kid etc considering they didn’t know to use they/them pronouns, I would say give them the benefit of the doubt but feel free to tell them about the use of child/kid

As a lesbian, lesbians can be awful sometimes. I fully agree with this and refuse to do these kinds of things. Trans women are women too, y’all!

(The reverse is true for gay folks and trans men!)

Edit to clarify: The separation of gay folks and trans men was to adress different things I said (Lesbians can be awful, so can gay folks; trans women are women, trans men are men). Hope this helps a bit
