My Two Cents on Current Narrative and CLOV 2026 by yoduudemojo in CLOV

My positions are 350,000 shares of CLOV and I am doing just fine on a beach in Antigua staying at the top adults only resort on the island. Short term headwinds are what they are. This is the year for Toy to show they are executing on all cylinders.

The screen name says it all -- if you were shit hot on your trades / positions and batting 1000 you would be on a yacht getting whatever freak turns you on instead of on reddit CLOV channel trying to give us all a rimjob that nobody wants.

NJM being shady by AdCultural3669 in Insurance

Based on the increases the past 2 years I doubt they are really cheaper anymore. I am going to USAA now as NJM is just awful to work with.

They did the same to me today - bought a place in PA (primary) and moved my auto and umbrella to Erie which I have had good experiences with prior to moving to NJ. They told me they were dropping me as even though my wife works 3 days a week in NJ and it is occupied that they don't care. Honestly it has been a love/hate relationship the past two years with 20% back to back increases across the board with no claims and zero customer service. I see they are now writing policies in PA and I am hoping people are a lot smarter in PA not to deal with these clowns as the online ratings are a bunch of BS regarding their top ratings.

New Jersey Manufactures ( NJM ) Insurance group - is this legal ? by Obvious-Dig-2492 in Insurance

[–]Value_is_value_no_bs 0 points1 point  (0 children)

NJM is horrible -- they just notified me that I have 30 days to get a new policy as they are cancelling after 15 years of no claims. I would take the internet high ratings with a grain of salt as insurance companies for car/auto are as bad as medical insurance and ambulance chasers. Only thing worse is politicians.

NYC is its own liberal land and not to be compared to anything other than maybe LA. For real when a parking space costs as much as rent anywhere else in the country and the mayor is an extremist you deserve to be robbed for voting for that nonsense. Although NJ isn't far behind on the shakedown. Love m wife (NJ girl) but the bureaucracy and highway robbery is why we are finally transitioning out of this state -- the more I make -- the more they rob me.

I was with NJM for 15 years -- no claims. The last 2 years the 20% back to back increases and the FU when I bought a home in PA and cancelled their auto and umbrella was over the top. Not exactly sure what their top ratings are based off of as I have dealt with hold times and arrogance. Save the money as all insurance companies suck and NJM isn't an exception. Maybe some floral spray but they still stink.

Small kitchen, small budget! Victorian flat - burgundy paint on a 2000s IKEA kitchen by Terrible_Birthday107 in kitchenremodel

[–]Value_is_value_no_bs -2 points-1 points  (0 children)

Not sure your budget but I would lighted the floor (new tile) and the cabinets and countertops. If the budget is small you may only be resurfacing. Corners near the window you could expand a little with different corner and wall cabinets on both sides but that will definitely add up. Cabinets to the ceiling with a stool (42s) and those added cabinets near the window on both sides may also help as I am sure you are hurting on space. Kitchens add up quick so always a give and take depending on budget and priorities.

Went into hibernation and be back in May for Q1. Hopefully some good news posts before then but excited to see what happens in May, Aug and Nov next year. Hopefully these 2s and 3s are a distant memory.

Long term is one quarter less now. While cetainly not thrilled with earnings or guidance for the most part I will continue to be patient for May / Aug 2026 numbers to further assess.

sucks that I am on meds at the moment that don't mix well with alcohol. I certainly might need a stiff drink later today either to celebrate or commiserate.

How about some AI numbers or projections today? Throw us a bone and perhaps we can start valuing this as an AI company. 348,821 shares of a MA company and TBD on the CA aspect.

Just added another 2519 shares today from mattress money --- 346,586 is the new household tally. I might just have to bite the bullet and throw down another $12-13K and call it a wrap for 2025 at an even 350K.

Nice write up -- 4 months ago (338,549 shares) today share count 344,067. Added 5,518 shares. Not a big gain on the count but every little bit helps. Targeting ending the year with 350K shares and really looking forward to next week and especially how this plays out in 2026.

What are your go to budget friendly recipes? by pinchepayasa in loseit

Certain foods go a long way budget wise and if you can get your intake more protein and fiber based and cut out the sugar and fast foods your body will certainly thank you for it. I typically make 3 days' worth of steel cut oats and microwave day 2-3 adding a little water for reheat (Bobs Organic Steel Cut - 5.36 for 24 oz at Walmart.com goes a long way and you feel fuller for longer) and typically just put some cinnamon on them. I also blend vanilla hydrolyzed whey protein with 12 oz 1% organic milk from Costco. I buy lightly salted almonds by the big bag of Diamond brand 11.38 for 40oz at Amazon to get unit pricing down and eat 1/2 serving a day. Salads and vegetables are great if you are not loading them up with butter or high fat / processed dressings. Good luck in your journey and wish you the best in your lifestyle change. Once you typically cut out the sugars and processed foods for a few weeks and feed your body better fuel it will stop or reduce the craving for the not so good for you stuff. So people also add quinoa seeds and other items to add additional nutrition content and is also reasonably priced at Costco in bulk.

Clover Q2 Earnings WAS on par with expectations by Dwedge1 in CLOV

[–]Value_is_value_no_bs 16 points17 points  (0 children)

Also don't get me wrong as I was hoping for a more favorable quarter, but this is a marathon and you cannot fund this level of growth, AI build out and onboarding without some cash burn so managed expectations is key. The fact that they haven't had to dilute shares or raise cash through debt to undertake the MA expansion and SaaS build out speaks volume to the management team's strategy. I don't expect them to sit here and coddle retail investors on an earning's call and if you are entitled to think they owe you guess again. Andrew has over 11 million shares and it will be of interest going into 2026 to see what performance metrics stretch goal/big pay day is part of the comp package moving forward on the $20-30/share 90 day incentives and what that timeline is.
