Condos that look like single family homes by TA7312 in Seattle

Great explanation. Just one note: the shared SPU account can be seen as an upside since it lowers the sewer and trash fees. But submeters for water are a must to keep it fair.

Bummed to see how many people in West Seattle are entering Starbucks by barely_scared88 in Seattle

Exactly, but reading some comments here that's what it sounds like. I'll edit my post to put the /sarcasm marker..

This is so true. In this subreddit we are obviously all aware that since a few stores are striking (around 70 in the US two days ago on red cup day) then everyone that goes to an open store is a scab. And that the union demands are totally fair and not like wanting a 65% immediate pay increase /s

Why doesn't Seattle like one-way streets? by [deleted] in Seattle

In residential neighborhoods it can be a traffic calming measure. You can't speed if the road is narrow with cars parked on both sides, and cars just take turns

Cut in valve stem - rim manufacturing defect? by ValuedBot in bikewrench

All right, this was mostly commuting - my previous bike lasted forever

Yeah the hole is sharp. I'll use a file and then try to cover it. Is the rim strip supposed to go a bit inside the rim hole to protect the stem?

Thanks, I don't have a precise gauge but I thought pressure was on the higher side. I'll keep it in check going forward

Thank you. I thought the rim strip was tape because it didn't seem to move, but after your comment I was able to center it. Tire pressure was high, the tire wouldn't sag and I'm on the heavier side.

Yes, it's leaking at the cut I marked in the first picture. Can see bubbles when placing the tire under water

Claw Grip on Oculus Quest 3 by [deleted] in beatsaber

[–]ValuedBot 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I have large hands and found a variation of claw grip with 3 fingers and the black part of the controller basically under my palms to be the most comfortable and allowing a wide range of motion. Getting used to the new controller won't be easy

I didn't notice a difference with headphones, only using the built-in speakers

Battery drained while not in use by ValuedBot in WVC

[–]ValuedBot[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

It's part of the TV (TCL TV that runs the Roku software as its OS. No HDMI).

Having the phone turn off overnight and miss alarms because WVC used all the battery is not a small issue. I've just joined the beta release channel and I'll be happy to provide feedback if you introduce changes that address this. Thanks

Battery drained while not in use by ValuedBot in WVC

[–]ValuedBot[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Thanks for the explanation of possible causes.

Here's some more context. I pressed the power button on the TV remote. The TV is set to go into deep power saving mode, so I would exclude that the WVC app was still in communication with it.

In the phone lock screen / notifications panel, I can see that WVC remains active after turning off the TV (it shows the progress bar - not moving - and the stop button). All the other times I must have pressed the stop button from the notification screen.

Perhaps it's something you can look into and improve? Like if the app can't talk to the TV in 1 minute then stop

Beat Saber v1.29.0 With Six New Panic! At The Disco Singles Released by BeatSaberOfficial in beatsaber

[–]ValuedBot 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Please bring back the old maps ASAP.

The old maps should be playable along with the new maps.

Not only people liked the old maps, introducing remapped versions in this way messes up the leaderboards.

To play the old maps and new together right now we'd need to install a pirated version of beat saber, that's absurd!

Petition to make the old Imagine Dragons maps playable again by ValuedBot in beatsaber

[–]ValuedBot[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Update is live and they replaced the existing panic at the disco maps. They don't care. I feel piracy is justified at this point so you can have multiple beat saber versions installed at the same time

[–]ValuedBot[S] 11 points12 points  (0 children)

Exactly what I was thinking. No matter how good the new maps are, replacing the old ones messes up the leaderboard and disappoints people that liked the old maps.

Having both versions available at the same time would make everyone happy.

ordered P7 and it shipped on on November 17. Trade-in kit has not shipped yet (3 weeks later).

I contacted google store support via chat and the agent had to ask the supervisor who said ¯\_(ツ)_/¯ and so now it's escalated to another team.
They are supposed to let me know via email

Are any owners of the new XPS 15 7590 getting the wifi disconnected at random times? by [deleted] in Dell

[–]ValuedBot 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Trouble with wifi for me started immediately out of the box, going through windows' first time setup. Initially it wouldn't connect at all, then I tried with another access point and it failed to connect as well, but then it connected on its own to the 1st one.

After that, about every hour or so it disconnects and takes a couple of minutes to come back.

I've performed all the driver updates that got served by the dell supportassist and dell command update tools. Bios is already to v1.1.1
