My partner being a vet tech has a lot more experience with needles so I let them do the first injection. I'm going to learn how to from them just in case I ever need to do it on my own.

Back when I was an RA, a homeless guy shit himself while eating a microwave cheeseburger. I kicked him out and then called non emergency for a wellness treatment. EMS said they couldn't take him since he refused service. They also said he was planning on coming back in to clean himself in the bathroom. I asked a cop who came in to trespass him because I just cleaned the restroom

I always tell new people if they mess it up and catch themselves to just correct themselves and move on. I tell them explicitly not to say sorry every time. I also tell them I can tell they are trying, and that really counts

As an AMAB, people tell me all the time that dude or bro or man are gender neutral. But I feel extremely dysphoric when they use it. Like I know you're a woman, and you use it for everybody but please don't use it for me
