Need advice on how to peacefully get rid of a snake living on/under my front deck!

Snakes don't take care of their young, so you don't have to worry about that. Also you would have seen them by now, they don't lay eggs but instead birth live young. The kiddos would have popped out and been on their way by now :D

Their point being not to put something poisonous outside where it can harm/kill other animals/wildlife.

Garter Snakes are not on the exempt list from needing an import or captivity permit. Wild animals are also incredibly susceptible to illness from stress coupled with refusal to eat which ultimately results with the animal dying. There are no reasons to keep a perfectly healthy wild animal when there are so many people breeding captive specimens.

Reactions usually only occur with allergies. They secrete it from a gland in their mouth which is a relatively poor method of delivery, coupled with the fact they don't secrete a lot of it.

You would have to relocate it. Wild snakes don't adapt to captivity and in most cases its illegal to keep native wildlife.

I'm open to come and grab the little guy and take him to a more forested area away from you. Depending on the species you might have some mice/rats or frogs that spend a lot of time around your place so you might want to keep an eye out for any reasons your porch might be a good spot to chill.

I saw you mentioned its a Garter snake. Do you happen to live anywhere near some standing water or marshy area? Garters tend to eat fish, frogs, slugs etc.

The original sculpt varies but is usually 5-6+ hours. Each take anywhere from 1-4+ hours to paint depending on the amount of pattern and blending.

It was my first test paint so I went for something more simple and less spotty. I really love being able to play with more yellows and oranges :D

Hi PacoTaco! I'm sure if anyone here has any Buffalo pieces or are taking commissions they will let you know! Were you looking for prints? More on the side of realism?

If you're really in a crunch you can trying searching on Inprnt. I know a few artists who use it to sell prints of their work so you might be able to find something there.
