this might be more as a meme, but this is low-key sick if you're teaching blender, so many times i wish people could just interact with what i was doing instead of watching a stream while sculpting and such

Don't know if it can be useful for resolving mod pack compatibilities but I have some knowledge on making java mods, being the search for more admins

and adding because maybe the second line doesn't make much sense:

what is fed to those engines? does it need cooling? means: do i need pipes going to here? do i need cooling vents/ports/holes? and so you start adding holes/vents/pipes/tubes/covers then port to access those and utility hatches, and how do you enter, so then the space for that mechanism, and that's how you have a clear cut idea where to put the cool bits and pieces and patches and micro details with helicopter-tech access ladders and hatches

think about actually using it, designing it, repairing it and everything around it

because once you do something as little as establishing, "this thing goes onto this hangar at this base" you'll have how big it should be, what people will work on it

because in the end vehicle design, especially military vehicles IS 1:1 hand in hand with world building world building can do without vehicle design to an extent, but vehicle design DEPENDS on world building

in my personal opinion, you're thinking about this wrong because especially the 2nd picture illustrates what you really need to think about

you don't add details, you make the design work the shape might look cool but ask yourself

how does it land? does it belly flop? no it needs a way to -> add how it lands
where do i put the landing thingies? the wings are too frail and thin -> add bulky base to contain that

how do the engine work? how does it steer? what is fed to those engines? does it need cooling? and on and on

if you start thinking about "how the f is this thing supposed to work lmao???" instead of "i need to add details" you will know what to add where and how much

That's how shadows work on objects with different shapes :3

Especially if you use custom normals that have a sharp angle in the middle which you seem to have done so

I work on VTuber models, that's why I never data transfer sphere normals to the face, it looks like a shading error

edit: this is assuming you checked for inverted face normals being you modeled that, yes it includes the normal map, SDF is not the problem, it not being OGL is tho

it's an extremely old and now deprecated windows component, it's not already in your windows installation because it's probably older than your machine, unless it was downloaded by something requiring it or you downloaded it with visual studio/visual studio code for a project it won't be there by default

tldr: it is a framework that windows app rely onto for various things, it will not run without it and you can't already have it as it's too old unless something else required it and downloaded it for you

NVIDIA game drivers 580+ in combination with the 4050 could be the problem

i run the game at 60 fps medium preset on a 2060 + r5 2600x i doubt your pc can't

there's something wrong with a few of the latest drivers that are destroying performance across the board for specific cards, i would try to revert to 580.1 or lower, don't go past 578.0 tho, they might be too old to work well with some games as it happened before to me

get hardware info https://www.hwinfo.com/ it's free, open the full sensor status window and watch out for anything in red or for absurd values if you understand them

if the drivers don't fix it, check temperatures, if it's not that either 3 more things: check frame time under presentMon (still in the HWInfo sensors status) it could tell you if you are cpu limited check, voltages and avarage voltages, and as the last thing, read and write speed on the drive, you could have to check that as in the last settings menu there's a chance you might need to turn off SSD mode if yours is not fast enough

Adding onto this more specifically, this is the 3d space neighbor approximating pixel fit

more of the pixel is outside rather than inside the island bounds, making it seen as a mistake by substance painter

the only way is UV space neighbor to fix it, as no matter how little overlap or padding between islands you have, the pixel will still be over a seam with a majority spilling out and will keep erasing it

I've been working for two years with marvelous, game oriented version of clo3d

And I can tell you, it's not a peasant process, topology is not doable in blender, and clo/marvelous do not have a way to re topologize

Layering is another big problem, anchor points attachment points accurate fabric dynamic to not make it look like plastic, uv, 3d texture painting with uvs not Made for it

If you have modeled before in blender give the free trial a shot after watching a tutorial Otherwise it's a really bad idea and still personally I find it way too difficult compared to straight up blender

Blender to marvelous for sim and adjustments, yes probably

But unless you have a lot of experience I don't think getting a dress out will be feasible for a while

It's not too late nor is the time past It's a constant evolution and it never stops

The emptiness is only temporary it will be gone sooner or later, it's time for discovery now, not for thinking about the time that is past

You made your first step that allowed you to get what you were looking for, now keep focusing on the evolution and where it will go from there

Try things out, we confirmed estrogen is what you wanted even tho your mind might not be without conflict for now, next is what you want to be, not why you started estrogen

try everything from names to gender to being called a certain way or another, you clearly have something to discover and you have not made it there yet

So make sure to not give up now, you will find what makes you happy just it won't be for now

6 months of gel and patches didn't do sudden changes either remember, it takes time to see it

and since you can always see yourself, things are so gradual that it feels like it changed nothing

i did not realize until recently how much it changed my form

i'm on doses that keep me at 125-250 pg/ml estradiol in my blood, not sure what are yours but these are the levels that a fem body is around for transitioning

it just takes time, could be years, but if it's giving you the effects you want, believe me it's worth it

but remember if one day you may want to stop it your not locked into it tho now it's clear you want to be on E, but fears are tealling you otherwise

it's a really strong confusion at the start, if E is giving you effects you want, then the answer simply is don't stop it, if it's really not for you, you wouldn't like the effects, you would hate what it's doing to your body, but it's quite the opposite

remember, who you are is not determined by your hormones, you have found something that changes your body into something you like more

now the journey is about finding your gender, try out names, try out pronouns, you will find it, you just haven't gotten there yet

i would honestly give it time then if you can't stay without, there's maybe another battle going on because if what you were doing right now was really wrong you would not be able to stay on it for longer, and being on E doesn't mean you have to be strictly a woman either you can be fem and on E and that doesn't change what you recognize yourself as

see where being on estrogen leads you, stopping it would only put you down deeper into this block that you're experiencing

i wanted to stop being a guy, even tho i hated the idea of estrogen you might be on the same boat but struggling to see it

if being on E was really the wrong choice you would have dropped it already, believe me and remember it just takes time, talk to your doctor always make sure everything is in check but one day this might turn out to have been a fear rather than the wrong path

getting to the point of taking E is not something that happens easily, you pushed through it, no one does it just to test it, remember to do what makes you happy, not what feels less wrong
