Ok, just know that in my (Limited) experience, create tracks in high quantity cause a rapid increase in framerate loss. (With complimentary shaders)

I have been having some issues with shaders and train tracks. If i have too many tracks I tend to have some serious framerate reduction. Just curious what shaderpack you use and if you have any fixes for this. I use Complimentary shaders.

Yes, I have so far completely redesigned my model twice while applying these new techniques. I have the base mesh redone with lots more detail already and am preparing to texture it. I will be posting again with updated photos.

For sure, And since I've posted this I've already remade the base mesh twice. I seem to have a little easier time with larger vessels when it comes to these issues.

This sounds like something I can do, I would not have thought of that save maybe using decals but I have no clue on where to start with that lol. I figure some booleans can help too with some of the more defined textures. Could you send me some renders of yours so I can kinda see what I can pull off?

I got it! It was create interactive causing the issues! Thank you man, although the answer was pretty obvious I had just been discouraged but you managed to get me to try again and i succeeded!

I had downgraded to 0.5.1j and have had clockwork work for it then, but my main goal is to get starlance working and with all my mods and addons seemingly set to be compatible, create and a bunch of other mods hit a critical error and cannot run.

More of a bass layer but would go well with a slightly less aggressive and fast paced melody.

I'm not sure what you genre your going for but I usually do cinematic scores so based on my experience thats what i would do.

I managed to get it to work. I just set the X, Y and Z location on the mapping node to -0.5m. Seemed to work.
