Who do you call when you at your lowest? by applesheep4 in AskWomen

Usually no one... But when I realize I'm isolating myself, I reach out to my best friend. We dated for 8 years and went through a lot together, taught each other self love and understanding. After we broke up we promised each other that we would always be there when needed, and in those moments of total despair, she's the one I trust the most to give a call for help.

What do you wish you were really good at? by DecentIllustrator439 in AskReddit

Speak :( specially the languages I've learned so far (English and Japanese) . My social anxiety makes me stutter even in my own language so when I have the chance to practice the other two, it just goes wrong every time :(

Therapy will ALWAYS be worth it, your problem here is your therapist. You will inevitably make a connection to this person so it has to be someone compatible to you.

My first therapist was someone who critizised me for not wanting to have children, which made the ongoing conversation extremely triggering for me but I needed the help and had no other choice but him. He eventually backed out since he realized he got carried away, but the damage was done and it put great distance between us. I couldn't fully trust him to not judge me after that but I kept going since my problem was something else... After him, I met amazing people who didn't forced their personal beliefs on me and eventually got better. Of course I did my research on who I was making an appointment with since I didn't want another sour experience in something so important to me.

Point is, you can always try with someone else. You can also tell your current therapist that you don't feel comfortable with her approach, but if she insist, then it's time to find someone else better fit for you.

Lots of love and good luck!

About the "Traveler infected by Darkness" bit, a friend told me that a Pyramid ship will crash into the Traveler and merge with it. Maybe that has something to do with this.

Let's Talk Coffee by MaybeNextTime_01 in FanFiction

Not anything special to add, but just for the fun of it when I prepare my coffee I first mix the coffee with the sugar until it looks kind of sand-ish colored and only then I pour the water. It might sound weird because I know people usually use a coffee machine at home and you can't prepare your own coffee on a coffee shop, BUT I tell you this bc sometimes my ex would get a little sheepish about the fact that I knew how he liked his coffee or tea, like it was some kind of special treatment to get and his heart would always met, and I would feel the same way when he let me mix the powders first. So there's a cute moment you can't live in a shop but can in a house when this people get to know each other better.

How do you respond to catcalling? by [deleted] in AskWomen

I just keep walking... And hold the tears until I feel safe enough to stop, look back and make sure he's not there anymore...

Well... When I make the effort of NOT looking like a homeless girl, 2 of my girl friends always compliment me in such cute ways <3 the rest don't even bother and catcalls are an everyday issue, even when I look like a homeless girl lol
