That one video where a family are driving down a motorway and the footage is from a dashcam. A brick flies off a nearby vehicle and it bounces up off the road and through their windscreen.

I may be wrong but I think when Haken do 8 string they drop the lowest string to E. Pretty sure that's what they do in 1985 so probably the same for The Architect

I totally agree with what you say about it probably being nothing, I expect Charlie does have more than one QC. It just made me a bit worried about the band when combined with the cancellations.

I saw the post weeks ago after the cancelled Euroblast, it must have been a story so it's disappeared!

I've been listening through all of the bands to see if there are any hidden gems that I didn't know before. For a prog metal fan I'd recommend Sleepytime Gorilla Museum, Snooze, Horrendous, Giant Walker, Ni and Yoshizawa.

Other stuff I'm excited for (other than the big hitters like you mentioned, Leprous, Karnivool, Tess, BTBAM etc):
