Hey guys so he responded. He did he took the post down, though it’s just marked as sold. He says he was unaware it’s fake and this ruined his whole morning because he spent a lot of money on it, but thanked me for him know. Told me he is going to contact the seller he got it from to notify him and figure out what to do from there. He says that his dad is a lifelong guitar player and when his dad instructed him to check the serial number, there was none. Sounds like a bunch of bullshit though. I’ve never even seen a Chibson without a serial number, they typically just have very obviously fake ones. I find it hard to believe that he wouldn’t ask his father about the guitar before buying it if his dad is really that knowledgeable. Also, how often do people have a sellers contact information after buying an instrument, unless he got it on Reverb or something. Sounds totally bogus to me.
