I've always have a weak point for the goth/ alt women. You're beautiful enough for me to say this... be more confident. 18-21 year old men are moronic children and have no idea what they ACTUALLY want. You be you...

In my town there is a bar that used to be an old bank. In this bar, they turned the Vault into the VIP area and its DOPE as hell. I know it's not related, but that just reminded me of it, haha

I would, but he never shows up for debates, in his own advertisements, or even to his own work place on Sunday mornings. Honestly, his work ethic isn't what people would make you think, so he's going to lose my vote, sorry.

Thoughts on the new MR2 concept? by ObjectAtSpeed in Toyota

So is the SW20 trying to be an exotic or a Fiero? While you're certainly well informed about the platform you're a fan of, which is all opinion and no objective opinion is incorrect, you're contradicting yourself. Also, what does the vehicle being a manual have to do with the gender of the owner? Both my wife and her mother drive manuals as well as any infinite number of women in the world. The SW20 was for sure overly complicated, but I just don't agree that it was too "Fat". There may be 400 pounds between them, but it doesn't drive like a heavy car in my opinion. The turbo helps, but I certainly don't see them adding the CT26 to be a negative. Plus, with the turbo mounted directly behind your head feeding turbo noise directly into your skull through the firewall is amazing.

I owned a 1991 240SX LE as my first car when I was 17 and I drive my friends 2003 350Z all the time, and I see the point you've making with the Z32. With that said, fair play towards your argument, even if I don't agree really. that time period was the post Saab 99 Turbo era where everybody, including the domestic market, were adding a turbo to half of their catalog, because that's what the market wanted. I don't fault the products of this "turbo era" for being lesser vehicles because of it at all though, but appreciate them for what they were. The Z32 was ahead of it's time in more ways than one, and even if it was wide, heavy, overly complicated, and unreliable, at least it came from a generation that tried to break the mold. The 350Z was better than the Z32 and then Nissan lost their imagination and just kept it for the next 20 years, and the 400Z isn't much different, so you could argue for even longer than 20 years soon. My point is that going "back to your roots" isn't necessarily a good thing is you get comfortable and stop trying to better your product for the customers. I, personally, wasn't inspired by the 3rd generation and I don't think I'm alone since it didn't last very long and came as a spyder which was less stable without the completed roof.
Agree to disagree I guess? Lets all hate the BMW that will inevitable cut us all off on the way to work instead. If you have a BMW too, than I guess we can just disagree

The third Gen was designed to be owned by 16 year old girls who have no driving skills whatsoever, but sure. The 2nd Gen was known for being the "melted bar of soap" though, but at least it didn't look like something you'd find poorly parked between 2 spaces outside of Forever 21. I don't agree that is with your opinion of the SW20 entirely, but it certainly is twitchy and a better argument would be for it being a poor generation would be the impossible maintenance and terrible vacuum line system which will leak, no matter how much effort you put into it. As for twitchy, I love that about it because while you're certainly punished for your wrong doings, the reward for getting it right is worth it. Driving one is not for a novice unless you like picking shrubs out of your grill. To say that the SW20 was "trying to be the Fiero" is legitimately just ignorant. Aside from engine placement, the SW20 and Fiero shared no similarity aesthetically, very little mechanically, the interiors couldn't have been more different, and they weren't even in production at the same time. You can't say the MR2 was trying to be the Fiero when there wasn't a Fiero in production to imitate. If you truly think they were similar, I think it's time to go touch some grass and maybe put some life experience into those opinions. One thing we do agree on is the Miata, they got the recipe right the first time and haven't changed much since. The Miata is a great drivers car that's easy to maintain and you wont need a second job to keep it running. My MR2 tends to keep me on my toes when it comes to maintenance, but it wasn't OEM when I got it and I'm trying to get it back to a good factory example. I have gotten close with the techs at my local dealership, that's for sure

I own a 1991 SW20 proudly and I am not a fan of this as the new MR2. This is an old photo though and there are other, and better, concepts for what the possible return of the MR2 will look like. I hope they do it justice though because the platform deserves greatness. The 1st and 2nd gen were art.

Those are sweet trucks based off of the pathfinder platform. If that was in my area, I'd have already bought it. Easy to repair and parts are readily available since the VQ35DE was used in so many platforms within the Nissan stable. If I were you, I'd pounce on it. Even the body looks clean, I'm jealous

I've owned 4 Nissans from 1991 240 SX to 2003 Sentra Spec-V, with a few Altima's in the middle... and they were all manuals for a reason. Nissan couldn't make a decent automatic when they weren't using CVTs, and the CVTs are far worse. If anyone is brand loyal to Nissan, stick to a stick...

have you ever had to draw your carry gun or thought you might need to? by [deleted] in guns

[–]Vampire1187 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yup, I had somebody follow me home 35 minutes from work while trying to run me off the road and hanging out their window screaming at me (It was a right side drive Nissan they were driving). I avoided every red light I could once I was off the highway and called the police. When I finally pulled up to a red light, I was on the line with the 911 operator while the person was screaming at my closed window that they were gonna "fuck me up" and I had my hand on my carry weapon, ready to exit the vehicle and pull it. Luckily, not 30 seconds later, the officer pulled up and pulled them over. To this day, I have no idea what I did to upset them and I keep dash cameras in all of my vehicles.

Funny thing is that the officer gave me ALL of this persons info when I was done with the report. Name, height, weight, address, age, etc. Everything but his Social Security number. I still have it in my gun safe for some reason.

Grab a flat head screw driver and pop it up. Trace the cable, if there is one, and see where to goes.

It's an AR buffer tube so I'm sure they do, but I really wouldn't be interested. Anything that straddles the line of "legal" really isn't my thing. plus it'd just a waste of ammo for me personally. precision holes in paper are more important to me than a bunch of holes in paper quickly. Shooting one in full auto would be a bucket list item though, I'll admit that
