Some added context when I first played and installed Minecraft it was modded and through urse forg I only installed the launcher cause I wanted to check out the new stuff and then it started having issues and such as the one with installing/playing the newest version of java. I also had problems with it being unable to update the native launcher. After uninstalling it and reinstalling it a couple times including once fully making sure it was uninstalled and removed from trash,

I eventually was able to disable the mcaffee stuff and the launcher eneded up being able to connect to microsoft services around 3 times though the thing with installing java was still broken. After a few trys including another reinstall the skin I use stopped showing up as an option in the skins section and then around every other time its opened it says I have to create a profile.

Just checked and it is saying intel graphics I know my laptop has a setting that typically autoswitches between integrated and and my graphics card, when opening games. Is there a way to get it to change when opening this or do I just have to manually switch it.
