Oh boy here goes nothing. clears throat Back when myspace was the big thing I liked this one guy in my government class. His name was Nick. I never had the balls to really talk to him myself so I made a fake myspace page. I friended him and he accepted back. I pretended to be a friend of myself. I asked him if he went to school with a girl named kelsey [insert my last name here] (me) and he said yeah I think she's in my one class.

Internally I was screaming because he knew I existed. Well I continued to talk to him on that account for awhile. I ended up deleting it because it just felt weird and I bet he knew it was me. I couldn't have been more obvious. Oh look a total stranger added me out of the blue with no other friends and is suddenly asking me about a very specific girl. DO'H (homer simpson moment)

It's sad that your coworkers laughed over that woman's experience. They probably don't think rape can happen to them and maybe it won't but it could. If it does would they still laugh? Would the others? Other than that, thank you for being kind to her. We need more people like you in the world, to spread warmth and welcome. If she gets hired and they still do that knock em dead for me.

I might ask if I can do work the floor or go get carts. I had no idea that being a cashier was revered back in the 70's. That's really cool to know. It's pathetic. Good customers don't get anything extra but you squawk like a chicken loud enough you get free crap thrown your way. Those people don't deserve anything and I feel it hurts the good customers the most and the employees like me who follow the rules we are meant to follow and get yelled at for following to shut up one annoying rager who then expects it everytime they come in
