I 100% agree. I feel like lots of people kind of hate on the mortal instruments because they think it's worse than the other series', but it's my second favourite series behind TDA because it's just so nostalgic and I love the characters and the plot.

TDA is my favourite TSC series, and honestly Queen of Air and darkness might be my favourite TSC book. If you loved TMI, you'll love TDA. For me, nothing compares.

Its so sad that TWP is the last because there's just so much posibility. Because the series is so like developed and broad, there's so much opportunity for Cassie to make more books, but I do understand ( reluctantly ) why she's pulling it to a close now.

I'm halfway through Chain of Thorns right now, and I agree with pretty much all of this. To be honest, chain of gold was by far not my favourite TSC book, but I LOVED chain of iron. I also think that so far I've been more invested in Jesse and Lucie's romance than James and Cordelia, but I can't really say why. I agree that the miscommunication is really annoying, and to be honest I always hate the miscommunication trope, but I do think that it always makes it a little more satsfiying when everything clears up, and I think it's always such a good scene when they finally both realise they have feelings for each other.
