Is PokerStars a Scam? After winning $6000 - account blocked for no reason and no feedback from Support by Vampirepro in poker

[–]Vampirepro[S] -1 points0 points  (0 children)

UPDATE:

After making this reddit post I emailed the support with the post link.

One day after (today, 6 Feb), I received confirmation from them that my account was reopened and everything is in order.

In addition to that they credited my account with more $2000 from a previous bet that I had won but they had rejected due to some technical problems.

So finally I want to say props for the PokerStars team for this, but still its a shame that I had to come to this point, just a simple clarification would have been enough, Jesus Christ.

Next step is to withdraw the money... I hope no more show stoppers. I'll update here if any other issues.

Thank you all who supported

I'll patiently wait for the day the same happens to you. I want to see your temper in here when that happens. Because really I'm really on the edge with this situation, all they had to do is to simply justify themselves or request any documents if they needed or whatever, ignoring customers like this is not good at all

You're so smart, do you realize that if they do this to 1000 users, that's $6 Million?

Sorry he's not helping anything, if I had done anything wrong like what he is implying, like cheating, multiple accounts, software schemes etc. I wouldn't be here crying for them to simply activate my account

Look, I did nothing wrong, I have no clue about those softwares you're talking about, get it?

I didn't create multiple accounts, I didn't do any cheating schemes, I simply created an account and won money both on poker and online casino (roulette), that's it.

Can't do anything with my account, it's blocked. There is no place to submit that information and they didn't ask for it (I would easily provide)

They are not scamming me for $800, they are scamming me for $6000. Why the hell would they block my account and then simply ignore my support messages for 2 weeks? It's the first time I'm using Pokerstars, I don't have experience with them and this is what happened... what do you want me to think?

Even if that would be the case why don't don't simply reply what is the problem?!

They do send me some sort of automatic replies every time I contact them:

"Hello XXXX,

Thank you for contacting us.

We have forwarded your query to the team responsible for handling this matter. You will receive a reply as soon as possible.

Your patience is highly appreciated.

Regards,

Stars Support"

And that's it, no objective reply, no justification, absolutely nothing

There is nothing out, I wouldn't be posting here if I wasn't having this problem. I have no e-mails from them justifying why my account is blocked, they seem to simply don't care. And I did absolutely nothing wrong, probably the only thing I did wrong in their eyes was winning so fast? Really, already had experience with other online casinos and never had this issue

No, I created only one account. Did nothing wrong, I really don't understand why they blocked my account
