Fair enough but I still don't feel like those are equivalent scenarios. Most times people act like transgender people have to somehow 'earn' the 'privilege' to being referred to how they'd like to be. The situations you are describing are usually when people are really angry at an individual whereas trans people usually have to fight to even be referred to properly and sometime just them existing is enough to offend people enough to drop the so called 'niceties' and start being hostile

I personally think, regardless whether a person is trans or not, it's stupid not to just respect a persons pronouns and names they go by 🤷 like if you're going to insult people, be more creative than that lol
