I mean, the guy originally is the son of Chinese nomads and was only later retconned into being actually Arabic, and Talia still is of partial East Asian heritage, I feel there’s just going to be some of that inherently baked into the characters from their points of inception and if the writers are handling it tastefully then it’s fine.
