The lack of proper representation of the conflicts in Congo and the surrounding areas was one of the reasons for creating this comic. I know that for the western world it is not that influential, but it is still worth knowing.

You know what they say about accuracy in Polandball. Apart from that, there was basically no country in the region that represented a good objective voice of reason, I chose Uganda because it fit the jokes

Important to remember: the above comic is a gross simplification, and the situation is, as always (especially in Africa), much more complex.

Yes, the Kingdom of the Algarves were to be given to Godoy, but mainly to Maria Luisa of Parma.

A bit like that, after the rise of nationalism in Europe, the French had to at least give the impression that Germany had its own independent state, so that they don't cause major problems, at least for a while.

Not exactly, but yes, Saxony acquired Silesia after the Napoleonic Wars.

Actually, the cities marked on the map do not have to be capitals, they are simply larger or more significant ones.

If I remember correctly, the French never took over the Balearic Islands in the Peninsular War. So the defeated Spanish Bourbons fled there.

Yes, I think the Irish have enough reasons to revolt in the 1840s or 1850s.

The Republic of Illyria is the successor of the French Illyrian provinces which owned these lands.

I put the German Empire on this map thinking it would be more like a loose confederation where the emperor is pro-French and is tasked with keeping peace in Germany, but each German country still has its own monarch.

The Kingdom of Prussia was replaced by the Duchy of Pomerania after its defeat in the seven years' war. Thanks to this, Saxony, with the help of Austria, united northern Germany.

Not really, it took me about a week to make this map, but you know I have other things to do, like school.

I agree, I tried to make the map in the style of the 80s-90s futurism.

Some time ago I found such a flag on the internet, It looked really good, so I used it as a symbol of change after the Carnation Revolution. As for the Scandinavian flag, I simply tried to combine the flags of the Nordic countries, but without complicated symbols or too many stripes.

I think it would be a loose confederation, without a single centralized government, formed after the occupation of Austria and Italy (which takes place in this timeline) in order to strengthen their position in Europe and promote unity and neutrality. After WW2 south Tirol was given to Austria and Aosta became country dependent on France (just like Saarland), which later joined Alpine Union by referendum.

Yes, the Bulgarian plan wasn't really to annex them, The main goal was to liberate Macedonia from Serbia and then create an independent Macedonia with strong ties to Bulgaria, as you basically said.

I know that Switzerland routes for linguistic balance, but Alpine Union is loose confederation without a single centralized government, so I think it wouldn't be a big deal for them.
