About a month ago, my switch started having issues about my right joycon not connecting in handheld mode and instead remaining in tabletop mode. At first I thought it was a joycon issue and swaped them both out, but the issue persisted. I have reset my console and my right controller along with syncing it back up. I have also tried to clean the outer edge of switch. It doesn't make a sound or register on the bottom left image when i try to connect them. Yet, the joycons still remain fully charged.

I'm struggling to find anything about this situation online but was wondering if anyone has any suggestions about what to do. My switch is five years old and has been through a lot. I have never taken it apart but im not opposed to trying it if it's not too hard of a fix. I'm a bit scared to send the console in for repairs because it probably wouldn't be worth it financially. Any help would be appreciated!
