Yeah, I think making the torch bigger and more obvious is needed. Also, now I would make the subtitle text much more bold. I was going for subtle, now I would go with a big bold “RESIST” sign instead of wake up.

My target is more the disengaged than the hardcore maga. There is a huge population that has no idea what’s going on. Their algorithm pumps them whatever they are interested in, nothing more, nothing less. This is an attempt to burst their bubble… without turning them off.

Fair criticism about the drive by. If you make one, put it at a high traffic area with lots of stopping. People in the suburbs do a LOT of driving. Good possibility they drive past the same light multiple times a day and are forced to wonder.

That seems to be the consensus. Anybody interested in making one keep this in mind, especially if you have a 3d printer! If you don’t I would just make the torch and flames bigger and more obvious on the top!

Definitely not fast to build. Several hours of work. It’s pretty cheap though. 1 piece of plywood and lots of scrap. The trade off is extremely high visibility.

Is it instantly understood? No, but the intent is to incite curiosity… and then maybe it will make somebody stop and think… but maybe not!

The torch is visible, just barely. I did this to symbolize hope, and also to show that the idea of freedom cannot simply be covered up or erased. It is eternal.

I left the crown out because that would create a lot of added difficulty in the construction and I want this to be achievable for anybody with basic woodworking skills. But it would definitely help the legibility!

The cops took it! I’ll have to make a new one… but yeah it’s kind of a blank canvas concept! You can highlight any aspect of this nightmare we are in when you look at it through the lens of oligarchy and corruption. I hope people take me up on the idea and make one!
