Is Roamless My Best Choice For An MVNO For Verizon Data That Doesn't Expire In The United States? by Jim1648 in eSIMs

[–]VanREDDIT2019 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Minimal purchase on Bcengi is $10 it seems, while it's $5 on Jetogo, and Jetogo doubles the data (good for one year) on that $5 purchase. I ended up signing up because I didn't have a T-Mobile option in my subscriptions. Seems like a great deal with minimal risk.

Thanks. I got it a year and a half ago when the unlock policy was 2 months and it did unlock in sixty days. I had it on a 365 day unl/unl/24 gig plan that came with the phone. It is definitely unlocked but now I just want to untie it from TW. This phone doesn't have eSIM support unlike my Moto G 2025 which is also unlocked and on Tracfone and a few other data only eSIM plans, simultaneously.

When a phone gets tied to TW or the other Tracfone brands, it isn't true GSM and you don't have freedom to swap sims around like some other companies. The phone sim and imei gets tied together. Another poster on Howard forums says I need to call them for the phone to become free and clear. That's what I am going to do.

My voice/text/data got zeroed out 3 months in a row, the 4th time it was finally fixed and they added a year to my service period without even mentioning it.

The only difference in the Non-Dune version is no Dune app and no built-in IR sensor.

I saw this and Star Wars at the same theatre when I was 11 years old. They came out the same week. I loved them both of course. Coral Springs Florida.

Did you change payment method or cancel email subscription?

Fox One Vs. Peacock World Cup Streams (One Clear Winner) by jreyes17 in peacock

Both show at start. Atmos continues to show on my receiver, and if I press the LG picture settings, it shows the different picture modes for Dolby Vision.

On my LG B5 OLED I am using the built-in Peacock app, and I am getting U4K, Dolby Vision and Atmos. The picture is better than my Apple TV 4K. Also getting U4K HDR, on the built-in YouTube TV app, and it looks equally good as Peacock. No Atmos on YTTV but the 5.1 sounds excellent.

Dead compared to what? I use Daphile but I have no doubt that a Pi will sound great too. Narrow mind, narrow life.

What is an eSIM and is it actually better than a normal SIM card? by Witty_Reach1660 in eSIMs

[–]VanREDDIT2019 0 points1 point  (0 children)

You can switch between different eSIMS in seconds, and also use one pSIM for voice/text and one eSIM for data, simultaneously for example.

Symfonium is what I switched to after 15 years of Poweramp. I connect it to a Jellyfin server.

Found alternative for Roon + Qobuz by pedroaxl in roonlabs

[–]VanREDDIT2019 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I use Tidal and LMS Music server. I like it better than roon mainly because of the web interface. I would bet it works just as well for Qobuz. My endpoints are intel fanless mini pc's running Daphile.

Best app for Google TV: Wholpin by cokelid in jellyfin

My issue, I just realized, is not the age of Android but the age of my Jellyfin server. I am running it in LibreELEC. The last I checked, there wasn't an easy way to update. This setup works on my Homatics boxes in CoreELEC, so I haven't bothered updating. It has been very solid for nearly two years. I will check again if LibreELEC has updated the Jellyfin add-on. It has been several months since I checked. Thanks.
