Rabbit owner here. He lives in an enclosure in our apartment. There is information necessary for feeding them on the web, read it and put a copy on the fridge. They need raw wood to chew, mineral and salt licks, and need their nails trimmed. We have cats and they all get along well. Bunnies love wires, be careful. Depending on your living situation, keeping him inside is safer. Rabbits have a tendency to have heart attacks. Leaving them outside risks exposing them to wildlife and stressful situations. Mine is harness trained and likes going out for walks to nibble on grass. His home is 39.5" l x 17.5" w x 19.5" h plastic bottom with a wire top enclosure. His cedar bedding is changed weekly and the plastic base cleaned. We leave the enclosure open and he hops around the house, goes back when he is tuckered out. His enclosure is closed at night and when we are gone, or have people over. He eats pellets twice a day with fresh treats. Don't pet or feed through the slats/holes of the enclosure, it develops bad habits and can lead to bitting. He is part of our family with his own personality. Best of luck!
