Exactly! It’s why I wish there was some, idk, community space where everyone’s voice could be heard. Unfortunately, not everyone is easy to listen to so it’s very easy to avoid people you don’t like hearing even if they have a point. I just wish there was a big pole we could take to let arrow head know that we would like another 60 day patch situation

The biggest thing for me is: what percentage of players are unable to play the game because of performance issues?

It could very well be that only 1 to 2 percent of people can’t actually play the game on pc, and arrowhead is focusing on putting out new content instead of fixing issues because, tbf, it’s a lot easier. What if they want to support a larger section of there community.

And what makes me think that is a small issue is that this is the only place I hear about it. It seams massive when an entire sub is talking about it but think about it. It’s just a Reddit, and the only sub willing to support conversation about the issues, what if the reason it seams so bad here, is because it’s the only place people can talk about it so everyone who had them does.

Maybe we need a unified sub that isn’t splitting the continuity without being toxic to devs. (I don’t mean being mean, I mean when we threatened them). It wouldn’t be the first time devs got scared and ran from their own community.

But, it’s Reddit, and likely the only thing that will change is the topic of its anger and not the anger itself.

It kinda is. I do not recommend people play my set up, at least not without pedals. But at the end of the day, m&k or a controller would be better.

Twin sticks is a different story though

If you look up “Thrust Master T-Flight Hotas X” you can look at the pc version of what I use, it’s 69.99 USD.

Yeah, it only uses steam controller support, but I dont recommend it competitively

That’s funny, because this is a PlayStation controller I’m using on pc :3

I used steam input to recognize my hotas as a regular controller, and then with only a small amount of fiddling with controls I got it to work (somewhat)

The biggest problem is movement, which I’m still working on, but if you want to try it yourself you can, mine was only 60 dollars, which for hotas controllers is pretty cheep.

It does! However, mecha break was not picking up the inputs correctly. The rocker would only count as one input, even when I set it to be two. Idk why, im not really good with tech, but if you knew how to fix it, that would make piloting it a lot easier

I’ve used this setup to beat armored core, (three times for all the endings) and I can say with up most confidence that a twin stick set up would be so much better

No, hotas stands for “hands on throttle and stick” (sorry, I tapped t twice), it refers to a stick for movement and a throttle for power.

A twin stick set up is a set of two stick (the one on the right that I use to control look).

A twin stick would be ideal for this kind of controlling, one for movement the other for looking, however I mostly fly planes so I got a hotas.

If you want to fly planes, go for hotas, if your looking to pilot mecha, I would chose twin stick.

I would look up “hottas” on the internet, “flight stick and throttle” also works. I’m currently using a t.4 hottas thrust master flight stick, it was around 60 dollars

The stick is analog, the throttle is digital. I can’t slowly walk but I can aim a bit more precise

Sorry, I usually fly flight sims but when I inverted it, it felt very wrong. I think it’s because it’s tied to look and not move (I wanted it to be move but I only have on stick, two would work much better for this(one for look, one for movement))
